Beyond the Man-Made World

Wasteland/Wanderland Reception

Laura Peturson’s Wasteland/Wanderland is an immersive print-based installation that depicts children as the explorers of a beautiful, yet dystopian setting. A floor to ceiling mural encompasses three walls, and is formed from woodcut, linocut, and papercut prints that are layered over silhouetted imagery painted directly onto the walls.
