Skinbound: Artist Talk with Wei Li

Artio Choir + The Traction: The Nature of Us

A blindfolded audience in a public green space. The performer offers the audience a vocal sound score in collaboration with the natural sounds around them. This acoustic experience widens the listening field of the audience members and expands the soundscape to involve everything from the birds, trees and wind.

Performance Poetry Workshop

Learn tips, tricks and secrets about performance from poetry slam champion Matt Miller in this workshop sponsored by Calgary Poetry Slam. Bring a poem (three minutes in length or shorter) and you will dissect and develop strategies to engage audiences and highlight the words you have assembled.
