Free First Thursday Nights

Glenbow is a place for everyone. Thanks to a partnership with Servus Credit Union, this popular free evening at the museum returns for 2020. Committed to expanding the reach and impact of art and culture in our community, be sure to swing by to see a bunch of exhibits before they close including Ladylikeness: Historical Portraits of Women by Women.

January Youth Jam
January 6, 2020, 6:00 – 9:00pm
The Blues Can (1429 9th Ave. SE)
Free admission
All youth musicians and bands are invited to jam—bring an instrument, a few songs and a few friends, it’s free! The Marcus Trummer Band kicks things off, followed by the jam. Youth musicians and bands of all genres welcome to join in and a backline is provided.

Can You Hear Me Now

Concentration Patterns

Concentration Patterns is a unique, meditative piece that seeks to envelope the listener in tactile and immersive sound. Inspired by technological deep-listening, Colin Gillespie’s soundscape combines layered elements to create an organic whole. Be sure to swing by the +15 in Arts Commons this season to have a listen.
