Northern Reflections: A Winter Window Exhibition

Northern Reflections is back with more artists, more animators, and more window magic. Buds Collective has again paired local businesses with local artists and animators to bring Calgarians a unique opportunity to participate in an immersive art experience. Celebrate the magic of wintertime as you stroll the streets searching out painted windows with the help of the AUGLE app. Then use AUGLE to reveal the animation through augmented reality.

INID Xmas Opera Special

New Year’s Eve Celebrations

The City of Calgary caps off the year with an evening of free music, live performances, activities for all ages, and, of course, fireworks. From the outdoor skating and music at Olympic Plaza to a family-friendly rumpus room at the Municipal Building, stick around as the countdown ball drops and the fireworks kick off. This year you can even head to the Central Library Dance Party for tons of activities including poetry readings by Calgary Poet Laureate Sheri-D Wilson.
