February Open Mic & Poetry Slam

Calgary’s one and only official poetry slam, Ink Spot has been bringing competitive poetry to YYC since 2003.
A democratic platform for expression, join in as a performer or as an audience member. This is your chance to see the top spoken word talent in the city and this month you can even see the winner of the 2016 Saskatchewan Festival of Words Slam, Veracity.
The February Open Mic & Poetry Slam takes place on February 26, 2018 at Dickens Pub (1000 9th Ave. SW). Signup for both the open mic and the slam is released at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
Admission is $10 cash at door, with a sliding scale for those who identify as low-income or students.
