Alberta Ballet hosts boundary pushing Los Angeles-based dance company

Continuing to push to a new performance edge, Los Angeles-based dance company Diavolo makes a Calgary stop as part of Alberta Ballet’s current season.
Featuring Diavolo’s signature works Trajectoire and Voyage, the production includes the meticulously designed architectural structures that have become the company’s hallmark. It’s the perfect showcase for Artistic Director Jacques Heim’s inventive genius and his fearless, athletic daredevils.
“Cutting edge yet spectacular, profound and innovative, this company of creators, under the masterful direction of Jacques Heim, thrilled more than 95 million spectators worldwide as finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent,” says Alberta Ballet’s Artistic Director Jean Grand-Maître in a statement. “We are thrilled to host them on our stage, and we hope that you will be mesmerized by their fearless athletic prowess and artistic daring.”
