Featuring the best of non-fiction films yet to be screened in Calgary, join the Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF) for the eighth annual edition of CUFF.Docs.

Slated to be the biggest one yet, CUFF might have had to make a last-minute decision to cancel all its Globe Cinema screenings in the face of rising COVID-19 numbers, but 19 selections are waiting for you to watch online.

Enjoy a curated lineup of the best non-fiction films on the festival circuit, varying in subject, style and genres within the documentary art form, with 17 features and two shorts packages streaming this week.

It’s your chance to see the best non-fiction films from the safely of your home while supporting a great and local festival. You can even order the best popcorn in town while enjoying CUFF.Docs from a distance. Order your favourite cinema snacks and it pick-up from Globe Cinema November 25 to 29.

This year, we’re keen to check out a CBC-produced documentary that examines Calgary’s deeply troubled police department, a smorgasbord of docs that are all 16 minutes or less, and the culmination of a trilogy of documentaries that have followed director Terry Gilliam over a 25-year period.

CUFF.Docs runs November 25 to December 1, 2020 and you can head to calgaryundergroundfilm.org for the full schedule. All films are available to watch on-demand until December 1 at 11:45pm.
