Country Music Week

The CCMAs offer a whole lotta country (and off-country) packed into one week

  • Location: Various Venues

Presenting the best in Canadian country music, the Canadian Country Music Awards presented by TD celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and returns to Calgary for the 10th time.

The awards show will be held at the Saddledome on September 11, 2022 (see below for a promo code for 20 per cent off tickets). Leading up to the awards, Country Music Week showcases diverse and talented artists from Calgary and across Canada from September 8–11, 2022. The programming includes music performances, CCMA House, Fanfest, the Legends Show, and the Off-Country Music Festival.

Taking place over four days with 60 artists participating, the Off-Country Musical Festival includes an Indigenous showcase, women in song, and emerging artists, performing in 16 spaces along the Music Mile on 9th Ave. SE and various other venues across Calgary. This series of free live concerts bring you artists who play country music on the fringes.

“RISE UP partners, Calgary Arts Development and Calgary Hotel Association, are happy to support Off-Country, activating Music Mile with local flair for Country Music Week 2022,” says Calgary Arts Development President & CEO Patti Pon. “With something for everyone, whether you are attending the awards show on Sunday night or enjoying an Off-Country concert, we invite all Calgarians to delight in this exciting week of music.”
