See original one-act plays from Moot Productions and Red String Theatre as The Pumphouse Theatre and Alberta Drama Festival Association team up for the 34rd annual Calgary Region One Act Play Festival.
A unique one-night-only event, the festival offers something for everyone including a public adjudication from Calgary-based award-winning director, actor, and producer, Kate Newby.
The two chosen plays are Red String Theatre’s DIRECTION/less and Moot Entertainment’s Come Home.
DIRECTION/less is a creation piece where four performers explore the things that can hold you back in life—and the things that can drive your forward. And Come Home shares the story of a young man without home, family, or friends who ends up on a dark path of crime and drug abuse.
ADFA Calgary Region One Act Play Festival takes place March 24, 2017 at the Pumphouse Theatres (2140 Pumphouse Ave. SW).
