A summer favourite, this genre-defying, continent-linking festival is back with an amazing lineup featuring City and Colour, Blue Rodeo, AM Static, Barenaked Ladies, Tanya Tagaq, and many more.

Bringing together mainstage concerts and collaborative workshops, the Calgary Folk Music Festival celebrates some of the globe’s most independent, original, and innovative songwriters and instrumentalists. There’s even a chance to take in the always popular Folk Boot Camp—a three-day workshop series running July 25 to 27, 2017 at Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre.

Rain or shine, the casual festival grounds are always a warm and welcoming place where you can come and go once you have your wristband. Even if you can only make it out for a single day, there’s plenty to see and experience.

The 38th annual Calgary Folk Music Festival runs July 27 to 30, 2017 at Prince’s Island Park (698 Eau Claire Ave. SW) and tickets can be purchased online at calgaryfolkfest.com.
