Movie lovers rejoice. Calgary’s own film festival concentrating on European features kicks off this week with Bulgarian flick, Directions.
Focusing on the best of European cinema, the sixth annual Calgary European Film Festival takes over Cineplex Eau Claire for eight days of screenings. Sponsored by 18 European societies, all films are presented in their respective languages with English subtitles and include Blockbuster: Life in Moving Pictures from Austria and Moldova’s Eastern Business.
