We’ve got the blues and you should too. The 13th annual Calgary International Bluesfest features a full week jam-packed with the best of the genre including workshops, special events, nightly dance parties, and a rocking mainstage.
The 2017 lineup includes Big Bill Morganfield, Bob Hall, Lil’ Jimmy Reed, Angel Forrest Band, Ghost Town Blues Band, Sugar Brown, and many more.
And don’t forget to check out some great, free events during the front half of the week! These include a blues guitar workshop with Tim Williams on August 1, as well as A Walk Through Blues History at the King Eddy and Blues at Noon with ProArts on August 2.
