Brilliant Traces

Theatre of Consequence switches to heartfelt romance for upcoming production

Hot on the heels of its successful inaugural production earlier this summer, Theatre of Consequence is back with Brilliant Traces by Cindy Lou Johnson.

Described as kooky but illuminating, the show follows Rosannah DeLuce (played by Sienna Holden) as she stumbles into a remote cabin in Alaska and wakes a lonely and mysterious man (played by John McIver).

Brilliant Traces does what theatre does best—it puts two people in a room together and allows their worldviews to have a cage match to the death,” says director Barrett Hileman, in a statement. “It is a play that humanizes metaphor into the lives of two very unique characters, creating a tsunami of words and emotions that wash over the audience and remind them of their own humanity.”

Brilliant Traces runs August 24 to 27, 2016 at Motel Theatre, Arts Commons (205 8th Ave. SE). Tickets can be purchased by calling 587.887.1002 or by emailing theatreofconsequence@gmail.com.
