You might know it as the $100 Film Festival, but even though it has a new moniker, the 26th Annual Artifact Small Format Film Festival is back with its stellar lineup of celluloid creations.
Presented by the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers, Artifact is the longest-running film festival in Calgary, and one of the only ones in the world to exclusively screen Super 8 and 16mm short films. This year you can catch screenings of works by Canadian and international filmmakers, live musical performances, and a talk and workshop by visiting artist, the king of super 8, John Porter.
