An all-new collaborative creation combining expressionist dance and experimental music, Theatre Encounter presents Aeschylus:Fragments.
Based on the lost Trojan War plays of the monumental Greek tragedian, the piece is a grisly commentary on war, trauma, honour, and fragmentation. Using Ankoku Butoh, a Japanese expressionist dance tradition, don’t miss the debut of this gallery style physical performance piece.
Aeschylus:Fragments runs November 16 to 18, 2017 at the Abattoir, cSPACE King Edward (135, 1721 29th Ave. SW) and tickets are pay-what-you-can.
