The Acoustic Guitar Project

One guitar, one week, one song

They have one guitar and one week to write one song. Certainly an ambitious undertaking, The Acoustic Guitar Project returns to Calgary thanks to the Gallery House Concerts Society.

This year’s roster features Emily Drzymala, Larry Taylor, Peter May, Karen Mills, and Will Mehew with each artist having only seven days to write a song and record it on the project guitar before passing it along to the next. Hear each of the five songs, and a few more, at The Acoustic Guitar Project’s final concert.

Calgary is just one of 60 cities around the world where songwriters simultaneously plunge into seven-day bubbles of creativity.

And this isn’t your typical show either.

Gallery House Concerts take place in a private residence, so those interested in attending must purchase tickets before getting to know the exact address in Calgary’s northwest.

Hear the final concert November 27, 2016 at 3:00pm. Tickets are available online at galleryhouseconcerts.com and the address will be confirmed when acknowledging your reservation
