Throwing their hat into the holiday ring, join Theatre Junction for this special screening—chosen by the audience, the next instalment of Movies at the GRAND is a Christmas classic with a Canadian connection.

“We gave our patrons 25 hours to cast their vote on social media, which was one hour for every day leading up to Christmas. They had to choose between A Christmas Story, Snow Day, and Black Christmas—each having a special connection to Canada,” explains Theatre Junctions Administrative Coordinator Oliver Pennock, in a statement. “I was silently chanting for Black Christmas, but oddly enough a heavy majority voted for holiday cheer over holiday blood smear…”

A Christmas Story screens on December 1, 2017 at Theatre Junction GRAND (608 1st St. SW). Doors open at 7:00pm, with the screening at 8:00pm. Tickets are $5 plus a non-perishable donation for the Calgary Food Bank.
