8th Annual Season Launch & Alley Party
Get ready to celebrate a new season of live art and Theatre Junction’s 25th anniversary

Who’s ready to party? Theatre Junction GRAND certainly is. This year’s alley party takes on a special note as the company gears up to celebrate a new season and its 25th anniversary.
“It’s a great party,” says artistic director Mark Lawes, in a statement. “It’s our way of bringing the Calgary community together and thanking them for supporting us, inviting us to challenge them and bringing them live art experiences you just don’t see anywhere else.”
Co-presented with The Hifi Club for the eighth year running, the party features music from San Francisco DJ, B.Bravo, alongside a wide array of local music talent, art installations by new media visual artist and co-founder of Studio Cartel Jennie Vallis and recent ACAD graduate Rhys Douglas Farrell. Local visual artist Daniel J. Kirk will also be on hand to unveil his newest installation—a world map that will mark where the works that Theatre Junction has brought to Calgary originated from.
The 8th Annual Season Launch and Alley Party takes place September 1, 2016 at Theatre Junction GRAND (608 1st St. SW). It all kicks off at 5:00pm with a suggested minimum donation of $10 at the door.
