- Location: Engineered Air Theatre, Arts Commons 225 8th Ave. SE
- Price: $10 - $12
With 25 years of presenting independent and experimental film exclusively on Super 8 and 16mm, the $100 Film Festival is ready to toast the art of celluloid.
The longest running festival in Calgary and one of only a few of its kind worldwide, Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers celebrates this landmark anniversary with extended programming and events including a special retrospective curated by Felicia Glatz.
You can also check out the Film/Music Explosion! featuring live musical performances by local favourites combined with song-specific new work by local filmmakers. And make sure you mark your calendars to attend an artist talk or workshop from visiting artist, Governor General Award-winning Canadian filmmaker, Philip Hoffman.
The 25th Annual $100 Film Festival runs March 22 to 25, 2017 at the Engineered Air Theatre, Arts Commons (225 8th Ave. SE). Visit 100dollarfilmfestival.org for the full festival schedule.
