Showcase Vol. 68 highlights Calgary’s urban arts, music, and hiphop culture

Featuring 10 artists at 10:00pm, Calgary’s own 10 at 10 showcases urban arts, music, and elements of the city’s vibrant hiphop community.
The evening includes performances from Amauri, Ruben Young & Egypt, Black$tar, East Dior & Trigga, Kully, Nick Royal, and The Blue, as well as a lounge marketplace featuring small businesses and entrepreneurial vendors YOUNG KING$ Apparel, Nourish Sweat Soul, Fizzy Bubbles Bath and Body, Uniqk Jewelry, and Legal Hustle Clothing. There’s even a free breakdance workshop from The Break YYC allowing you to learn the basics before the performers take to the stage.
Hosted by Beni J and Mz. Holliday, 10 at 10’s Showcase Vol. 68 takes place on May 11, 2017 at the Commonwealth Bar & Stage (731 10th Ave. SW). Doors open at 9:00pm.
