Alien and the Supernatural

Storytelling has been a way to pass down wisdom and knowledge by the Blackfoot people since time immemorial. Through the oral tradition, Blackfoot Elder Sheldon First Rider shares stories from Blackfoot culture in this intimate one-hour program.

Online Book Club w/ Francine Cunningham

The WhoKnows Variety Show

The Ironwood hosts a variety show once a month. USUALLY the last Tuesday of the month, Dan Duguay of Dan the One Man Band presents music, poetry, magic, clowning, acting and circus. It’s called the WhoKnows because you can never be sure what to expect on any given evening.

Reading by the Rivers Book Club

Every month, the Reading by the Rivers Book Club read a book by a Canadian author. During the last week of the month, all readers will meet at Fort Calgary to discuss the book, eat and drink, and socialize with other book lovers. May’s book is I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid.
