Farmers & Makers Market Beltline
Located in Calgary’s oldest public park, The Farmers & Makers Market takes place every Wednesday among the beautiful gardens and water features of Central Memorial Park. Each week, you’ll find 45+ local farms and producers, ready-to-eat food, live music and their free, drop-in kids arts & culture program.
Calgary Black Film Festival
The Calgary Black Film Festival #CBFF23, is back! Through 40 films and various panels, this hybrid third edition is aimed at the public from all communities as it highlights the talent of creators from diverse backgrounds and makes room for them to reflect on the issues they face.
Festival of Quilts
Western Canada’s largest outdoor quilt show features a marvellous collection of quilts displayed throughout Heritage Park. The festival also features two special lecture workshops, a trunk show and a Merchant’s Mall with several local quilting vendors. The Farmers & Makers Market is excited to bring their market to inner-city residential neighbourhood of Sunalta, located just west of downtown. Every Saturday, you’ll find 50+ local farms and producers, food trucks, live music and their free, drop-in kids arts & culture program.
Family Puppet Festival Day
