Keeping the blues dangerous, Theodore Joseph Horowitz, aka Popa Chubby, is big, bald, and straight from the Bronx.
Chubby is rarely seen on stage but he’s bringing 25 years of postmodern blues-rock to Calgary this spring. Having cut his teeth playing punk shows at CBGB as a backing band member for Richard Hell, his fearless attitude has carried into in his solo blues career.
