Maestro Rolf Bertsch conducts the symphony with Berlioz’s ever-popular Carnaval Romain kicking off the program. Pieces selected by the young musicians are Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35, Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Flat Major, Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85, and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
