Need a laugh? Then you need to head to Vern’s in downtown Calgary for a night of surprising comedy featuring both stand-up and improvisational comedians.
This month’s show includes a new improv format alongside improvised standup with suggestions pulled from The Bucket. Squeal the Pig sees jaded stand-up comedian judges improve scenes using three tools—a bell to end successful scenes and bring on another, the words new choice to change existing scenes, and a squealing pig to kill terrible scenes that should never have existed in the first place.
