With a special three-day celebration of all things pop culture, we’re giving away a pair of weekend passes so you can let out your inner nerd and geek out at Calgary Expo: Limited Edition.
Brought to you by the Calgary Comics & Entertainment Expo, this September taster gives you the chance to come together with fellow fans to geek out over comics, sci-fi, anime, gaming, cosplay, and so much more.
As always, there’s a ton of things to check out—for all ages—including a chance to shop hundreds of artists, artisans, and specialty vendors for that impossible-to-find treasure. Swing by to snap selfies with favourite costumed characters on the show floor, experience the culture of Calgary’s creative fan community, meet the creators building your favourite worlds, and learn from the experts in how to workshops.
Of course, you can’t forget about the celebrities.
Calgary Expo brings together fandom’s biggest stars allowing you to get an autograph or a photo with your favourite celebrity guest or the inside scoop during epic on-stage panels. This year, you can meet Christopher Eccelston (Doctor Who), Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter films), Ben Barnes (Shadow & Bone), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and many more.
There are also two special community campaigns to check out! September 10 is Healthcare Heroes Day, allowing first responders, healthcare professionals, and additional healthcare service or support professionals to attend that day for free. And Expo is partnering with Kids Up Front to send 100 families to the show for free by providing the option for ticket buyers to Fan it Forward by sending a family during their ticket check out.
