Tip your hat and celebrate 50 years of excellence in performing arts and education at the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts.
A special concert featuring two orchestras, six choirs, pre-concert performances by current students, as well as special guest speakers Mayor Naheed Nenshi and UCalgary President Dr. Elizabeth Cannon, it’s a night not-to-be-missed.
The SCPA, composed of Dance, Drama and Music divisions, presents over 200 concerts and performances every year, and welcomes renowned visiting artists and scholars to engage with students and faculty.
SCPA 50th Anniversary Concert takes place at 8:00pm on February 26, 2017 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Arts Commons (205 8th Ave. SE). Pre-concert performances start at 7:00pm.
