A unique and stand-alone experience, Why We Are Here! invites audience members to become a choir and sing in a site that they would not normally be able to perform in.
Nightswimming’s site specific pop-up choir explores aspects of Calgary’s history and landscape. Each night is at a different location including Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, and features three of the city’s top choral directors and acclaimed artist, Michelle Thrush.
Why We Are Here! takes place January 18, 20 & 22, 2017 at three unique venues and is part of the High Performance Rodeo, running January 5 to February 2, 2017.
