Just a toke… Join Front Row Centre Players for this satirical cult classic, based on the 1936 propaganda film, Reefer Madness.

A darkly comedic look at the politically-charged topic of marijuana use, in it audiences meet all-American teen heartthrob, Jimmy Harper, who is head-over-heels for the sweet and wholesome Mary Lane. But their romance is cut short thanks to the temptation of cannabis. This one-of-a-kind musical uses different musical genres to chronicle the dangers of wacky tabacky.

Reefer Madness runs January 6 to 21, 2017 at the Beddington Heights Community Arts Centre (375 Bermuda Dr. NW). The show deals with mature subject matters, including drug use, sexual themes, and violence, played in a campy fashion. It is recommended for an adult audience.
