Local arts community goes digital in response to pandemic

  • Location: From Anywhere

With Calgary working hard to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), hundreds of events have been cancelled and community gathering places have closed. But, with the increase of online platforms and increasing technology, organizations and artists from around the world are stepping up their digital offerings in light of the pandemic.

From free concerts and performances to digital tours and online resources, our own local arts community is making sure we all stay connected to art, artists, and creative ideas. And if you’re enjoying online content from an artist or arts organization, consider making a donation! Even a few dollars can go a long way.

Have an online offering that’s not listed? Email us at events@calgaryartsdevelopment.com or fill out this form.
