Based on the extraordinary life of Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, In Flanders Fields travels from rural Ontario to the mud of the French trenches, revealing the brotherhood, love, and true humanity of one of Canada’s most famous poets.
A co-production with Forte Musical Theatre Guild, the show was Lunchbox Theatre’s inaugural Remembrance play in 2010, receiving a Betty Mitchell Award nomination for Outstanding Production of a Musical. Now, this stunning work returns to the stage, giving audiences a chance to watch this one-of-a-kind Canadian work.
Lunchbox is also offering complimentary admission to veterans and military personal for this show and a relaxed performance takes place at 12:00pm on November 5.
