The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra turns up the heat with their annual festival—Fiesta! Latin American Classics Festival presents four sizzling concerts for you to enjoy.

Throwing the spotlight on Latin America’s unique classical tradition, hear spirited and vibrant compositions from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and beyond.

“This music is literally hot—it comes from the tropics. You should expect symphonic music that will make you feel hot, sexy and passionate. You’ll leave the concert hall sweating every night,” says Roberto Minczuk, Music Director Laureate, in a statement. “We have four of the best soloists in the world. To have them all together in Calgary in under two weeks is unprecedented.”

The festival comprises four different performances celebrating the colourful variety of classical Latin American music.

Viva! Mexico with Johannes Moser
