Calgary Multicultural Choir celebrates 40 years of singing

Celebrating its 40th anniversary with special guest, Vocal Latitudes, join the Calgary Multicultural Choir for a lovely blend of old and new pieces from around the world.
Singing in nine different languages with 57 members from 25 countries, the concert features traditional folk songs and contemporary arrangements including Danny Boy, Skye Boat Song, Danno Budhunge, and many more. You can also hear the premiere of a piece by Canadian composer Larry Nickel—We Welcome You, So Long Farewell—commissioned to celebrate this milestone occasion. There may even be a slice of birthday cake or two.
