A classic journey, but with a musical twist, the GuitarBorn Project is a true-telling of two friends with full plates, families, and careers who believe it’s never too late to pick up where you left off.
Seeking greater fulfillment through creative growth by pushing the limits of their “conventional” life, they hope to encourage other people to do the same.
A colourful and inspiring showcase, the concert represents the peak of a year-long journey for musician Noel Amante and artisan guitar-maker Cliff Regino. The two have re-discovered a deep joy for their craft and relayed this process from start to finish in a documentary, GuitarBorn Project. The showcase marks its world-premiere.
This incredible evening also features a modern, guitar-based concert with various guest artists and instrumentation including flute, violin, marimba, double bass, vocals, and a vocal ensemble.
