Known for its bitesized productions, Lunchbox Theatre kicks off its season with this award-winning show by playwright Aaron Bushkowsky.

After Jerusalem mixes romantic comedy, travel and Hollywood conventions to tell the story of a down-on-her-luck middle-aged school teacher (played by Kira Bradley) who tries to find love in Israel by pretending to be a famous actress. But when she meets a scriptwriter who happens to also be a soldier (played by David Sklar), their lives intertwine and change forever.

Quirky and heartfelt, After Jerusalem is simply a love story where anything can happen.

After Jerusalem runs September 19 to October 8, 2016 at Lunchbox Theatre (160, 115 9th Ave. SE).
