Spiritus Chamber Choir presents a new program of sacred choral works

A sequel to Connect … Create, Spiritus Chamber Choir’s kicks off its 21st season with this collaborative concert featuring Calgary’s EnChor Chamber Choir and the Amici String Program.
“There is such abundant creative energy at the start of any new season,” says Spiritus’ Artistic Director Timothy Shantz, in a statement. “That energy is multiplied when we bring new groups together. I can’t wait to hear what these new collaborations will produce in the freshness of our new season. We are thrilled to connect with Elizabeth Paynter’s EnChor Chamber Choir and Fiona Carne’s Amici String Program!”
The concert includes a variety of sacred choral works including Allegri’s Miserere Mei, Schubert’s Mass in G (selections), Mendelssohn’s Ave Maria, and more.
Connect… Create II takes place at 3:00pm on October 2, 2016 in Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary (206 University Court NW).
