Ode to Joy
School of Creative and Performing Arts performs Beethoven’s monumental work

The UCalgary Orchestra, Chorus, and Chamber Choir join forces to perform Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9 in marking 100 years since the end of World War I.
Featuring soloists Dr. Laura Hynes, Laura Jones, Matthew Johnson, and Paul Grindlay, the program also includes George Enescu’s First Romanian Rhapsody to mark Romania’s centennial as a united country and the Great Union Day of December 1, 1918.
The concert takes place at 8:00pm on December 6, 2018 at the University Theatre, University of Calgary (230 University Court NW).
