With 12 hours of movies, contests, and surprises, Calgary Underground Film Festival gets Halloween rolling by featuring a mix of terrifying favourites and a few holiday themed frights.
From 7:00pm to 7:00am dive deep into this movie marathon with Gregory Plotkin’s Hell Fest, John Carpenter’s Christine, Jeremy Saulnier’s Murder Party, Alexandre Aja’s High Tension, Herb Freed’s Graduation Day, Rob Zombie’s House of 10000 Corpses, and Sam Raimi’s Drag me to Hell. There’s even a costume contest at midnight so dress in your best for this epic fright fest. You can even come for one film or stay for them all.
The 12 Hour Halloween Horror Movie Marathon starts at 7:00pm on October 27, 2018 at the Globe Cinema (617 8th Ave. SW). Admission is restricted to 18+ with alcohol service available through first four movies.
