In 2002, Sam and Amy lose their father to the war in Afghanistan. Determined to follow his legacy and do their father proud, the sisters enlist and support each other through the joys and hardships of military training.
With its annual production looking at the lives of those who serve, Lunchbox Theatre and Forte Musical Theatre Guild present the world premiere of Brave Girl by Emily Dallas.
The show follows the two as they advance through training and take a very different course. Taking its inspiration from the life of Sandra Perron, Canada’s first female infantry officer, this Remembrance musical examines the life of women in power and the sacrifices that must be made.
Brave Girl runs October 22 to November 10, 2018 at Lunchbox Theatre (160, 115 9th Ave. SE).
