With winter around the corner, it’s the perfect time to think about gloves. Did you know these little finger warmers also make funky rod puppet heads?
Join WP Puppet Theatre to decorate them with a face, then add a flowing cloth body, arms, and hands to read the perennial favourite, The Mitten by Jan Brett. It’s your chance to make an indie video of puppet poetry.
Take part in Puppet Pop-Up Studio: One Glove from 10:00am to 12:00pm on October 20, 2018 at the Dance Drama Studio II, Wildflower Arts Centre (3363 Spruce Dr. SW). Tickets in advance are $10 per person or $35 for groups (four to six people) or $15 per person at the door if not sold out. Children and teens must participate with an adult and the workshop is recommended for ages four and up.
