Celebrate the King Eddy’s official grand opening weekend

Featuring local and touring talent alongside special culinary features from its new Southern-inspired menu, swing by the King Eddy and celebrate Eddy Fest.
A four-day music showcase, the lineup honours the legacy of the venue and toasts the Eddy’s next chapter as a vanguard of Calgary’s live music scene.
“Since our soft opening on July 20, we’ve hosted artists from across all genres and backgrounds, partnered with various arts and culture organizations, and collaborated with grassroots organizations to present local and national artists,” says Rich Taylor, the King Eddy’s Talent Buyer, in a statement. “Eddy Fest is a great example and realization of our vision as a community hub.”
Providing all music for all people, the weekend features blues to indie-pop to alt-country on Calgary’s legendary stage. Acts include Astral Swans, Nice Horse, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, and Amos Garrett and the Eh! Team.
