Rooted firmly in the tradition of jazz greats such as Oscar Peterson and Benny Green, Los Angeles-based pianist Tamir Hendelman and his trio kick off JazzYYC’s season.
Known for his classical flair and imaginative arrangements of music from the Great American Songbook, his trio displays the interplay of a fine chamber ensemble with a swinging heartbeat.
