A deliciously dark intersection of lo-fi, post-industrial noise, R&B, and minor-key murder ballads, Calgary’s own Copperhead immerses audiences in ambient, expansive soundscapes full of texture and reverb.

With Liz Stevens on lead vox, Kirill Telichev on lead guitar, Kane Bender on drums, Rob Smeltzer on bass, and Jamey Lougheed on baritone sax, this band makes folk music for the 21st century and you can hear them this Saturday.

Catch Copperhead at the King Eddy on August 11, 2018. Doors open at 8:30pm with the show at 9:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.
