Calgary’s one and only official poetry slam, Ink Spot has been bringing competitive poetry to YYC since 2003.
A democratic platform for expression, join in as a performer or as an audience member. This is your chance to see the top spoken word talent in the city including featured poet, Alan Leangvan.
The June Open Mic & Poetry Slam takes place on June 25, 2018 at Dickens Pub (1000 9th Ave. SW). Signup for both the open mic and the slam is released at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
Admission is $10 cash at door, with a sliding scale for those who identify as low-income or students.
