UK-based pianist Xenia Pestova returns to Calgary with a program of works for piano and multichannel live electronics including music by Gayle Young, Heather Hindman, Glenda Keam, Hans Tutschku, and J.S. Bach.
Virtuosic, vivid, dynamic, colourful, and engaging, Pestova is known for her innovative programming and performances. Bringing together a variety of cutting edge mechanical and digital technologies, her performances extend the possibilities of the piano.
