Win Tickets to the ACADSA Spring Show + Sale

See what Alberta’s finest emerging artists have created at the Alberta College of Art + Design Students’ Association (ACADSA) Spring Show + Sale.
The public is welcome to view and purchase over 3,000 pieces of handmade art from more than 200 artists with all proceeds supporting the ACAD student body.
“Since 1990, Show + Sale has offered Calgary’s emerging artists, designers and craft-makers a public platform to present their original, handcrafted work in a retail market setting,” says Joel Farris, Career Development Program Manager with ACADSA, in statement. “What is so unique about Show + Sale is that it gives attendees an intimate view into Calgary’s budding creative class, which has become increasingly integral to the life of our city.”
You can even get first crack at the First Night Fundraiser, running from 5:00 to 8:00pm on March 22. Attendees can purchase a variety of original artwork in advance, enjoy libations and nosh from Concorde Entertainment Group’s National Beerhall, and meet the artists face-to-face. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at acadsa.ca.
The weekend market continues from 12:00 to 7:00pm on March 23 and from 12:00 to 4:00pm on March 24. Admission is by donation.
The ACADSA Spring Show + Sale runs March 22 to 24, 2018 at the Main Mall, Alberta College of Art + Design (1407 14th Ave. NW).
