Continuing its new Alberta Spotlight series, join the National Music Centre as it presents award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and author, Rae Spoon.
Since 2004, Spoon has released eight solo albums spanning folk, indie-rock, and electronic genres. While their 2013 Polaris Music Prize-nominated album, My Prairie Home, explored Spoon’s childhood and upbringing as a queer youth in a Pentecostal household, their latest 2016 record, Armour, is about their view of the future. F&M opens.
Catch Rae Spoon with F&M on March 15, 2018 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE). Doors open at 7:30pm with the show at 8:00pm.
