Touting an L.A. vibe and some of the best drag performances Calgary has ever seen, join WERK for its first ever pop-up party.

Taking over The Palace Theatre with an L.A.-comes-to-Calgary theme, dancing and performances kicks off at 9:00pm with music by DJ Roofeo and DJ Erwin before Calgary’s own legendary Tara Extravaganza of Carly’s Angels opens the show with performances by Vancouver’s bad girl Berlin Stiller and reigning empress, Jane Smoker. But the party gets an L.A. makeover later in the night when Morgan McMichaels (Rupaul’s Drag Race: All Stars), Mayhem Miller (The Abbey Nightclub), and BibleGirl take the stage between sets by Ryan Skyy.

“I decided to create WERK because I wanted more great LGTBQ+ party options in Calgary,” says event organizer Dane Walker, in a statement. “Who doesn’t dream of partying in L.A. in the dead of winter?”

WERK debuts on December 9, 2017 at The Palace Theatre (219 8th Ave. SW). Doors open at 9:00pm.
