UCalgary’s newest music ensemble celebrates cultures from around the world

Composed of University of Calgary faculty, students, alumni, and guests, join the School of Creative and Performing Arts as it presents its newest music ensemble, the UCalgary Global Village Band.
The ensemble pays tribute to a multitude of cultures that enrich the Canadian musical landscape and this inaugural concert includes music from Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Armenia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Iraq, Afghanistan, China, and Mexico, as well as a Métis medley from Canada.
