National Music Centre closes season with CanCon superstar karaoke

The National Music Centre turns down the lights and turn up the tunes for the final 2017 installment of Studio Bell After Hours.
After a year of dancefloor-ready beats and good times, this popular nighttime series wraps for the season with video and live band CanCon Superstar Karaoke hosted by Jett Thunders. Featuring backing band The Guess What, the biggest crowd pleasers can take home bragging rights and awesome prizes.
There are even live DJs spinning party-starting tunes, including Canadian Red Bull 3Style champ and three time Calgary DMC champ, DJ C-SIK.
“We’ve used our After Hours events as a test ground for interactive programming and are proud of the artists we’ve hosted over the past year—from DJ Shub and Braids to many well-known and emerging Calgary DJs,” says Adam Fox, NMC’s Director of Programming, in a statement. “We’re excited to cap off a year of programming After Hours, and looking forward to finishing 2017 in style.”
Studio Bell After Hours takes place from 7:00 to 11:00pm on November 24, 2017 at Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE).
Tickets must be purchased in advance. After Hours is a licensed event for those 18 years of age and older. All visitors must provide valid government issued photo ID.
